Cressi Calibro Mask

Cressi’s next generation diving masks are all equipped with the IDF - Integrated Dual Frame Technology which offers exceptional field of view, and the new Calibro is no exception. 

Calibro combines a captivating design, low volume and medium dimensions, both for the frame and the skirt.

Its exclusive structure integrates the frame in the skirt instead of overlapping them. This exclusive construction system allows Calibro to have low weight (118 gr), reduces to the absolutely minimum the thickness of the skirt, improves the internal volume, the visibility and the fitting of the mask.

Furthermore, the new way of assembling the mask improves the mask's watertightness, maximizes comfort and improves the diver's visibility towards all directions. The mask is designed so that the integrated face and frame allow for an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape and a particularly wide lens, maintaining the mask extremely close to the face.

Cressi took advantage of all available gaps to optimize the skirt's fitting and reduced the internal volume. The distance between the lens and the diver's eyes has been reduced to the limit that the skirt doesn’t make the known suction effect, but simply settles on the face providing the perfect watertightness thanks to its design and its studied relation thickness / silicone rigidity level.

Calibro also has inclined lenses that are extended via soft curved lines over the cheekbones, improving the downwards and side visibility. The extremely thin frame, the well studied assembly with the sensitive frontal bone area optimize visibility, without compromising the ability of the mask to adopt to any face.

The buckles of Cressi Calibro, are assembled onto the frame to achieve better stability and better adjustable tension. The buckles fold and tilt towards all directions, making it almost impossible to to damage them. In addition this type of straps and buckles helps improve the mask's adjustment on the face as the tension is distributed evenly over the frame and does not affect the skirt.

A patented membrane surrounding the inner nose pocket, which acts as a barrier and traps any moisture involuntarily escaping from the diver's nose  when breathing through the mouth. The result is that, not only is the moisture channeled away from the lenses, thus avoiding the fogging up of them, but it also reduces the need to compensate for pressure.

Thanks to its matte coating the mask’s components all match, enhancing the underwater experience since it prevents reflections in the water that may disturb marine life. Calibro is the perfect mask for free-diving since it is designed to provide the diver with a feeling of total freedom and comfort.
