The 4402 is a really great pair of waterproof, sailing pants, for the offshore enthusiast at a very reasonable price. The Skagen Sailing Trousers are robust Bib Trousers from the GoTop brand. These sailing trousers are characterized by their breathable outer fabric and a good fit thanks to the articulated knees.

These very nice trousers are not only suitable for sailing but also for any outdoor activity. They can be combined with the Skagen Sailing Jacket (sold separately).

The GoTop fabrics allow 4,000g of moisture to pass through it, giving it a breathability rating of 4,000g/24hrs.

GoTop tests how waterproof its fabric is by using a hydrostatic waterhead. This is measured by pulling the fabric tightly over a tube. The tube is then filled with water and the amount of water that leaks through the fabric after a 24 hour period is then measured. The height of the water column, in millimeters, is the hydrostatic waterhead measurement.
