Developed in partnership with pro anglers fishing the Atlantic, this Rapala lure is weighted for maximum casting distance and ultimate stability in bad weather and rough seas. Rapala has incorporated in this new lure, an internal weight system, which enables the Walk’N Roll to maintain a steady flight posture and achieve long-casting performance.

Under a steady retrieve the MaxRap Walk'N Roll spits and rolls from side-to-side; or try a twitch & pause to create a walking action. Crank it in fast to imitate a fleeing baitfish; or when at rest with your rod tip down, twitch it in place for a head-down bobbing motion. Overall, Rapala created an aggressive, walk the dog lure. Fishing Tips

Right after casting, keep the tip of your rod low and perform sharp twitches, simultaneously with the retrieve. The faster you perform sharp jerks, the steeper the angle of the lure’s movement and the more scared and nervous it appears to predators. The wider the angle and the slower the retrieve, the more weary the Rapala Walk’N Roll will look, reminding nearby predators that they do possess killer instincts. This is a really productive lure for a variety of prey.
