Yamashita King Egi K 10th Anniversary Model

Yamashita has developed the King Egi K 10th Anniversary, limited edition squid jig model, for daytime egging.

The main feature of the Yamashita King Egi K 10th Anniversary is the clear and transparent body, that can further enhance appealing elements on the lure’s body. This limited edition model releases glossy light reflections from the "inner sheet" and turns it into an appealing effect, as sunlight goes through the lure’s body.

The Yamashita (야마시타) Egi-OH K Series has the most stable sinking posture and is a true value in all weather conditions. They are equipped with a breakthrough development in squid design, the Hydro Fins, that were developed and mounted in order to achieve swimming action. The transparent Hydro Fin plays a role, such as the rudder in a ship, that eliminates wobbling in windy and wavy conditions. With the Hydro Funs the K Series squid jig (에기) will continue to sink in a straight line.

Complementing the effect of the Hydro–Fin, is the Flat Bottom and the Delta Tail, else called "Hydro Body ". In the front of the squid's belly, around the sinker, the surface is large and flat. Going backwards from the middle of the belly towards the tail, the area is narrowed down. This design pushes water from the belly towards the fin to achieve a sense of stability and a smooth falling action.

The "G Flash" treatment in the lateral line parts, will bounce off all available light, a handy benefit when the water is crystal clear.

Keimura paint has been used to create the life like, 3D eyes of the K series squid jigs (에기). The eyes are circulated in glow resin that reacts to ultraviolet light.

The Yamashita (야마시타) K Series are equipped with two sets of hooks with a different opening angle, in order to set hooks even of delicate bites, of low activity squids.

Yamashita (야마시타) also used the patented Warm Jacket Technology which basically increases the lure's temperature to match that of a live bait, since it is scientifically proven that squid detect temperature increase.
