It is a rod specially designed for cephalopod fishing and Slash has paid attention to the smallest detail, in order to achieve this exemplary performance. To set up the blank of the Arcard Real X, Slash company used high-quality carbon fibers and with the advanced X Cross Grid technology succeeded in creating a flexible rod, ideal for squid fishing, avoiding the tearing of their sensitive tentacles.

Slash uses Fuji K-Series stainless guides to prevent line snags, or wind knots, in high wind conditions. The ceramic material in all the guides is Sic-S. With this choice Slash has achieved functionality and braid protection, without raising the rods’ cost.

The Cross Wrapping construction method is used in both sections, to create a blank that is flexible, bends progressively and is capable of technical action. The tip is reinforced with Carbon tape, allowing natural movements and easy strikes. The handle design reduces wrist fatigue.
