The Fuego spinning rods range, came to replace the very successful Daiwa Ballistic. It is made up of a complementary set of rods from 1.98 to 2.7m.

These, easy to transport two section rods, have X-45 new blanks and are fitted with Fuji O Ring guides, which boast an aluminum oxide ring and a modernised frame, lighter than the previous generation.

The action of the Daiwa Fuego spinning rods is made to meet the demands of modern anglers, who want the most out of hard baits. Daiwa altered the density of the carbon fiber material in the HVF blank in order to develop a light weight rod, with extreme power reserves, resilience, as well as an outstanding bite detection sensitivity.

Whether you're fishing from the bank or a boat, these light rods come in at remarkable value for money, opening up Daiwa's signature carbon technologies such as HVF and x45 to a wider pool of anglers than ever before. Their HVF carbon has been wrapped using x45 technology, for a sensation on the bank. They offer power for the cast and fight and sensitivity for feeling and animating the lure. The X45 carbon fiber construction results in a distortion-proof blank – the rods nearly have no torque, which allows for longer and more precise casts.

The tapered blank brings lightness to the cast and power to the fight.

This range is perfectly matched to Fuego LT reels both technically and cosmetically, but it addresses all predators and reel types and all kinds of modern spin fishing. The Fuego spinning rods are equipped  with a Fuji VSS reel seat. These rods are very handy and well-balanced. They have fast action and enormous power reserve within their backbone, to allow you to master every fight.

Daiwa Technologies

X45: This fabrication process is the superposition of spiral carbon fibers (90 °), unidirectional (0 °) fibers on three layers and two carbon layers laid by two opposing helical windings (45 °). These two additional crosswinds have given the name of Bias Cross Wrap.

HVF: Reduction of the quantity of resin and increase of the degree of adhesion of the carbon fibers during the hot polymerization phase.

Micro Pitch: A micropigment finish is hot sprayed during the wrapping of carbon sheets. This removes the need for varnish, offering less weight and more sensitivity.

Fuji O Guides: Fuji O Ring guides boast an aluminium oxide ring and a modernised frame – lighter still than the previous generation.

Fuji Composants: The FUJI logo is linked to a Daiwa rod featuring at least one FUJI element, whether it’s a reel seat or guide.
