The lineup of the Daiwa Over There rods has expanded to include models that address the needs of Heavy Spinning and Shore Jigging enthusiasts, in the Mediterranean. The Daiwa Over There rod family consists of multi-lure casting rods, that combine the long-distance castability of baits such as Diving Pencils and large Poppers, or Metal Jigs, the full control over those lures, the light weight for handling them without fatigue and the tough character required to bring to the shore big fish. When it comes to the target fish… you name it.

In the Over There rods, Daiwa has placed emphasis on strength, by equipping them with powerful blanks, with long casting abilities. The Over There powerful blanks with long casting abilities are surprisingly lightweight, offer fine handling og the lure and long fishing hours without fatigue.

Over There's butt power are separated in four classes, namely M, MH, MHH and H. The H is stronger version of the M class progressively. Although the power is almost the same, the strength of the blank has been improved, so that it can handle aggressive fights. The guides have also been changed, to an all double foot and the grip and reel seat position have also been changed to handle tougher fights. If you enjoy Light Shore Jigging and usually aim for bigger fish should go for an H class rod.

As a result, it is now possible to bring to rocky shores, a big fish. A medium-sized, spinning reel such as LT4000, or LT5000, with a thin PE 1.5 line, or less are sufficient to cast far, fish aggressively and handle both your lure and your prey, with the M class. On the other hand, the H class models, have been designed to fish with a large spinning reel of No. 6000, or more and a PE line of No. 1.5, or more, to handle the fight and pull the fish up.

Fish targets for the Daiwa Over There rods could be Seabass, Bonitos, Amberjacks, Dentex, Groupers known for their strength. The possibilities of the sea are endless. Just grab a Daiwa Over There rod and conquer the horizon.

All Daiwa Over There H rods are equipped with double foot Alconite guides with a stainless steel frame and reliable SiC rings, for added strength and a standard DPS reel seat. The M class rods are equipped with the original Daiwa, oval reel seat. It will not tire you even if you swing the rod for a long time. The M class rods are slightly more sensitive and are fitted with single foot type guides. Since the reel seat position is slightly higher, even if a large fish suddenly snatches the lure, the rod will not be stretched.

They are all slim, so it's easy for people with small hands to grip.
