DUEL L-Blue Quick Dog Pencil Lures

The L-Blue Quick Dog, is a floating Pencil lure, by DUEL, which targets species that feed on the surface, such as Barracuda, Bluefish and Seabass.

The lures made under the Lens Finish technologies are manufactured, using a number of DUEL’s innovative lure craftsmanship. The body of the DUEL L-Blue Quick Dog Pencil lures, consists of many flat sides, which cause an impressive 3D Prismatic effect. Internally, there is an inner hologram sheet, which sends reflections of available sunlight and is visible from long distances and great depths. The prismatic sides amplify, or reduce the intensity of light reflections produced by the inner holographic sheet, as the lure moves underwater. These flashes (check the relevant video) cannot be easily reproduced by lures that have a round body.

DUEL’s Lens Finish technology reproduces the reflections, caused by natural scales and attracts attacks from greater distances and depths. This technology is also patented by DUEL and creates an effect that enhances and diffuses the brightness of the inner hologram. All DUEL lures, belonging to the L-Blue category, have the holographic foil inside and will continue to produce flashes even after many attacks, scratches, or bites on their body.

The lures of the L-Blue Quick Dog Pencil produce a strong darting action and this is assisted by their flat back. We can bring the L-Blue Quick Dog Pencil to life, either with a Walk the Dog move, or with Skipping on the water surface. Underneath its mouth, the Quick Dog has a hollow cup which, in addition to the WtD movement it will produce bubbles, push a lot of water on the surface, imitating the action of a Popper lure and creating popping vibrations.

The DUEL L-Blue Quick Dog Pencil's third key technology, located on its tail, are two fixed tungsten spheres that shifts the center of gravity of the lure backwards, making it stand at an angle, during pauses, leaving the head out of the water. The fixed tungsten balls allow the lure to respond to the commands of your rod faster than a lure with a Moving Weight System, so you can explore tight spots. Designed for fishing in both deep and shallow water, the L-Blue series lures have a very good balance, allowing their action to start immediately after Skipping on the water’s surface. The third sphere produces rattling sound, attracting predators through sound as well.
