The various retrieval techniques that one can apply to Minnow lures is an enormous chapter itself. The Sandeel 3D Jerk Minnows are produced into two main types: Floating and Sinking models. The floating series varies from minnows of 11 cm and 7 gr, up to 21 cm and 44 gr. This range meets the requirements of every in-shore Spinning technique, from Light Spinning, to Heavy Spinning. The floating modes do respond well to jerks and twitches, but are specialized to perform optimally to medium, slow and dead slow retrieves.

The design of the Sandeel, has been based on 3D scanned images of common baitfish. It is specifically meant to mimic the movements and whims of Garfish, a highly sought after baitfish in all the seas around the world. Inside its body, a magnetic transfer system has been installed, so as we can achieve long casts even when facing adverse winds. This inner magnetic weight “hits” the lure’s tail at the cast, but sets in the middle of the lure right after the first jerk. This allows the minnow to be particularly stable and real-looking.
