Lalizas Inspection Hatch with Removable Cover

Deck Hatches are specified and used on a wide variety of yachts, fishing boats, tugs, barges, research vessels, offshore tenders, rescue craft and other workboats. They are designed for new boats, for replacing other deck hatches in standard openings, or for improving existing craft. They can be installed in any deck style or material using stock or custom deck rings.

They have no hinges, so that you can completely remove the cover. Its opening is easy, since the specially designed thread, automatically ejects the cover, once you turn it 90° counter-clockwise and is sealed with an O-ring, that makes the hatch water resistant.

These Lalizas standard inspection hatches, are ideal for access to storage compartments on board and perfect for inspecting fuel lines, electrical cables, control cables, battery switches and so on.

They have a low-profile design.

Please note that these hatches have a relatively light surround and should only be fitted into a perfectly flat surface, which is free from flexing otherwise they may not seal properly.

While these hatches are water-tight, they can not be used under or near the waterline and similarly they cannot be used to hold back fluids.
