It features a strong, click-on connection for the interchangeable EWG hook. The EWG hooks have been very popular for many years. You can easily tell them apart from the extra wide gap and from the tip of the hook, being directly in line with the eye of the hook. With a regular Texas-rig, the point of the hook is pushed through the entire cross section of the bait and when a bass bites the lure, the plastic bait is pushed down exposing the point.
