The Kubira Jighead, has been designed by Lucky John company. It is a tailor made jig head, to be combined with large size, Eel type of silicone lures, with a long, curly tail. Lucky John designs and markets the Curly Tail Kubira Fire Tail silicone lure, in the shape of an Eel, to be fished from a boat. Similar lures that can be rigged with the Kubira Jighead are the Black Cat Twister and the Savage Gear 3D Real Eel.
The hook used is the VMC 5150BN in size 10/0, which is super sharp and strong to handle big catches.
It also features a second ring, for tying an Assist Hook. Most importantly, the Lucky John Kubira Jig Head, have an extra arm, that “secures” the silicon lure’s body and holds it securely into place. Thus the silicon lure will not slip away either by bites, currents, or the long use in the water.
The range of color combinations was based on the Lucky John Kubira silicone bodies, so there is a perfect match between the two.
