BKK Punch LRF Jig Heads

The BKK Micro Jighead Series has been developed to target small fish, on light tackle. Specifically designed for Rock fishing, it includes three jig head models, featuring different head shapes, for three different swimming patterns: Harpax Darting LRF, Prisma Darting LRF and Punch LRF. Not only is this series designed to cater to saltwater inshore Rock fishing, but it can find application also in Light Spinning for Perch, Zander, Trout, Chub and small Carp.

Silicon Lures in LRF (Light Rock Fishing) are divided into three general categories according to their shape.

• Shad silicone lures are known for their “paddle” tail
• Jerk baits are easily recognized by their sharp-pointed endings
• Creature silicon lures are the ones that mimic sea creatures, such as small shrimps, crabs, worms and other sea critters

BKK has designed the Jighead series, in order to deal will all three categories, or silicon lures and to stress each one’s true potential. Setting a Jig head and a silicon lure is still one of the greatest issues of concern for anglers worldwide. The BKK jig heads contribute to the general discussion with a solid, holistic solution.

The BKK Punch LRF Jig head has been designed for Shad Type soft lures, for fat boy soft swim baits and ideally can be used with silicon lures that demand a steady retrieve. These lures are all about their paddle tail producing vibration and a natural swim movement. The tear shaped jighead creates the hydrodynamic needed for a steady, faster, or slower retrieve. Watch the tail of your silicon lure getting alive with the simplest of retrieves.

Shads usually have two issues: Tails are being cut off, either from smaller fish, or by this big predator that simply bites them off and then runs away. In addition, soft baits tend to slip away from the hook and they get unrigged, due to our jerks and twitches. One hook on the jighead is often not enough and the same goes for LRF, or Spinning. BKK has developed a technical solution to this issue, by adding an extra gripping claw, a made-of-wire baitkeeper, which secure the silicon lure by getting a firm hold.

The Bright Tin coating protects the inner structure of the hook from saltwater corrosion and provides extra glare in the water column when jigging.

A sticky sharp needle point allows for deep and quick penetration.

The BKK Punch LRF feature a unique head shape that makes it perfect for bottom fishing. Its lower center of gravity and round front head shape in fact reduces the chance of snagging, as the jighead can easily jump over obstacles.
