Hart Real-T Jigs

Spanish company Hart, has accustomed us in recent years to very beautiful imitations of prey fish, such as the Flathead Mullet, Mackerel, or Sardinella. It has incorporated very vivid color choices into its baits, as is the case in the successful Real-A (see here). The Real-T jigs continue this tradition and design style.

The first thing that will capture your attention you in the Real T jigs, is the balanced and harmonious way the colors of the small fish are imprinted, in a completely natural pattern, on a piece of metal, along with various other details such as iridescences, reflective films, that differ in each model.

One could argue that the specialization of this Hart jig, could incorporate it in the large family of (as in the slang of fishermen is called) “jigging lures”. What does this mean; these are jigs, that immediately after the cast - which is usually, as in this model is impressive - we can use them as lures, not only in the classic Jerking approach (with the rod’s tip pointing upwards), but mainly with Twitches and Pauses, as we would do with a Jerkbait for example. The body of the Hart Real-T jig, is clearly forward-weighed and is right for this approach.

At the same time, Hart adds one more feature to the jig’s equation, that of a Slow Jig. This allows us to integrate these jigs into Vertical boat techniques, such as Micro Jigging (a technique our company has introduced with the contribution of Alpha Tackle, promoting specialized equipment and opening up a whole new world for effective boat fishing, capitalizing either from a boat, or from the shore on the times of "Inactivity" of the jig, as it sinks in an erratic manner. Hart's "warning" is also worth noticing: always be ready during pauses as it is then that you will receive most of the strikes. Handle it by giving light jerks to the rod, alternating with short stops in which you let it drop erratically towards the bottom and then repeat the jerks.
