Xesta After Burner Mini Casting Jig

The Xesta After Burner Mini lure is a high quality metal casting Japanese jig.

Its hard to believe that there's much of a difference between jigs like this of different price and design, but some genuinely do seem to catch more fish than others. The range of Xesta After Burner jigs has proven itself to be superb fish catchers, particularly with Mackerel, Pollack and Bass but they've also accounted for all kinds of species since their introduction.

The flat surface design of the head allows the lure to have little resistance in the water, therefore enabling the lure to be quickly retrieved through the top water surface column.

This mini version of the popular After Burner casting jigs, with their very small size and low weight, have been designed specifically for Ultra Light Spinning techniques. These micro jigs have the shape of a small bait fish with a compressed and linear profile and coupled with 3-D eyes make this bait so realistic.  

Due to its very well balanced center weight design, it has a slow to medium fall rate which is great to entice even the fusiest of eaters at any depth. Once the jig has hit the bottom a simple erratic jerk of the rod creates a medium to fast, fluttering action.

The colours have been so meticulously produced, in some cases even with holographic film. Given the small sizes, these mini jigs echo the colours of tiny forage fish such as small anchovies, small sardines, mullet, etc. The colours include shades of blue, green, silver and pink and are finished with small punctuations on the sides, which in turn mimic the forage fish quite realistically.

The Xesta After Burner Mini jigs can be fished in various ways. It is very easy to produce a manic fluttering action with this jig, simply by using a straight retrieve method coupled with tiny small jerks, folllowed by another drop. Ideal for light game predators.
