The Underground Dub Step Metal Micro Jigs have been developed to meet the demands of the most advanced Light Rock Fishing anglers. They are probably the only ones that combine virtues of both Rear Weighted jigs and Slow jigs. The end result is a lure that despite its relatively small size, knows no fear against the wind, or currents; the Dub Step is a lure that can challenge weather conditions in which we wouldn’t even think to fish the LRF style.

The Underground Dubstep jigs took their name from the small metal lump they have on one of their sides, creating a multi level surface. This asymmetrical detail, makes the jigs somewhat rear weighted. It offers them an extraordinary casting ability, great stability against currents and a radical descending action. Their colors are both natural and reactive and their decorative details are very close to the real thing - red gills, tiny shiny spots, and pectoral fins. They come at 5, 7, 10 and 20 grams.

These tiny jigs closely resemble spoons and they can indeed be worked with steady retrieves. Their great, differentiating factor is that they cast like bullets and are very stable against waves and currents. You will feel them descending at the end of your line, even when the braid slackens because of the wind.
