Ima's first, Light Game Pencil Popper, Qoop 45, has become one of the most talked about floating lures in the market.

What can you expect from a floating Popper weighing 3 gr at just 4.5 cm length? How many innovations can be embedded? Those who have experience in Ultra and Light Rock Fishing can answer your questions with a smile: many, so many that you will need true knowledge of Poppers to fully comprehend them.

Firstly we tested the Ima Qoop 45 with many different sets of fishing gear from Ultra Light rod sets with Casting Weight Max 3 gr, up until with rod of Max 10 gr. We also tried it with an 1.5Lbs Ester Line up to PE 0.4. With all the sets of equipment this Ima Popper maintained its great casting ability, gliding in the air and it responded exactly as we wished to every command from our rod. At a first glance (especially when looking at the cavity in the front part) one could say that we are dealing with a small Popper for Light Rock Fishing, but no.

In reality the Ima Qoop 45 has everything to do with a Walk the Dog lure. With the classic Walk the Dog command, we can easily produce an attractive, smooth, side to side motion, but with something “extra”. Basically the hollow cavity we mentioned above, displaces water as a Popper does, with every left-right motion. The body of the IMA Qoop 45 then produces internally, rattling sounds. Consequently, the Ima Qoop reproduces and switches on fish with two kinds of sounds: Popping & Rattling. The pop sound coming from the cup and the rattle sound of the spheres. Motion, small jets of water, sounds coming from an only 4.5 cm lure with every jerk, if that isn’t impressive in lure technology , then what is?

Utilize the potential of the Ima Qoop 45 to target rockfish and small migratory fish, such as Saddled Bream, Seabass, White Trevally, Tuna, Atlantic Bonito, Leerfish, etc.
