The Ima Jetty 135S was designed with the objective to create a pilot Minnow that can be exploited in adverse weather conditions.
Metal lures are easy to cast and quick to reach the strike zone, against adverse weather conditions, but Minnows will always have an advantage when Seabass are feeding on Sardines and other baitfish of similar size and shape. The Ima Jetty 135S was designed with the objective to create a pilot Minnow that can be exploited in such situations; as a high appealing minnow to be used when large baitfish are present and active.
The Ima Jetty 135S has the advantage of versatility and can cover a wide range from the middle layer to the bottom, with the flying distance delivered by installing the MRD. MRD is an acronym for "Magnetic Rebound Driving”, an Ima original, low center of gravity moving system, that uses repulsive force to forcibly return heavy weights. Put the MRD System together with the low center of gravity in the lure and you create an extreme casting distance potential.
The Ima Jetty produces a flashy, wobbling action during retrieve, but also when allowed to sink. Therefore it can be used as a search bait, in a variety of presentations, such as steady retrieve, high speed retrieve, stop & go and cross tide drift allowing you to induce chasing fish to strike. It will sink on the hang allowing you to cover a range of depths, as you try to locate the best area to fish and is perfect for covering a lot of water.
These characteristics combined with the fact that the Jetty 135 has multiple action capabilities have the IMA field testers stating that the Jetty 135S will become the go-to lure for 'surf fishing'.
