Developed by Kazuhiro Uyama and tested on his many trips to chase the greatest of world’s predators, the DUO Fangbait 120DR SW aims to become a never-leave-home-without-it lure. In contrast to the countless long lipped diver shaped lures, the DUO Fangbait DR series has incomparable casting properties. These types of lures are mainly utilized for trolling, but when casted, the long lip prevents them from maintaining a stable flight. The Fangbait DR series however is equipped with a Moving Weight System enabling the lure to reach great distances.

Being a pioneering model for the Fang Ops brand, it represents the concept of building some of the toughest lures in the world to the fullest. The 120DR and 140DR lures have been built to tackle even the largest of the “beasts” and their strength has been enhanced by a strong 1.2mm thick wire, running through the whole body. By running the wire through the outer side of the body, DUO was able to further reduce the plastic usually required around the wire, while increasing the volume of the air chamber for more buoyancy.

DUO also inserted 3 different sized stainless-steel pins to secure the wire which runs through the body. This prevents the wire from coming loose, while reducing the weight by trimming the unnecessary meat off the body.

The DUO Realis Fangbait 120DR is the next generation of diving Jerkbaits and it will change the concept of diving lures.
