Yo-Zuri Wake Bait 3DR Lure

Crankbaits are lures that are being used mainly in freshwater, for fishing species such as Seabass (Small-mouth bass, Large-mouth bass). Crankbaits are characterized as hard artificial baits, with a wide lip, that enables them to sink below the water surface, during retrieve.

They are used to make catches under particular conditions, such as of suspicious prey at a certain depth. The size and the angle of the lip are the factors that will determine the sinking speed and the swimming depth. Longer lips, at a lesser angle, will create greater immersion than short tongues at a steeper angle. All you have to do with the Crankbaits is to cast and simply retrieve, covering as much water surface as possible.

The Yo-Zuri Wake Bait is one of the 13 different lures in the 3DR series, which includes lures of various types of sinking, weight and motion, making the complete lure range essential for fishing in any conditions. The range of different types of lures in the 3DR series ranges from Topwater, Pencils and Poppers to Jerk Baits and Crankbaits. All types of 3DR lures feature Yo-Zuri’s patented, Internal 3D Prism Printing technology, producing realistic reflections and arousing the curiosity of nearby predators, that would otherwise be very difficult to catch.

The series of Yo-Zuri 3DR Wake Bait have been designed to swim marginally below the water surface, but also in very shallow places, where Seabreams or Seabass can nest. They are also designed with a rounded, lightweight Crankbait design, so that it can be used with Light equipment.

They feature Yo-Zuri’s patented Inner Sheet Technology, which is an inner aluminum foil that reflects incoming light and creates a vibrant and realistic footprint in the water. Inner Sheet technology produces a triple effect in the water as it reproduces flashes, depending on the angle of view, modifies the color of the body and gives volume to the artificial bait.

A slow, methodical retrieve with occasional pauses is recommended to achieve the desired result. The special wobbling movement it produces, has proven to cause explosive attacks close to the water surface.
