The Daiwa Exceler LT reel series, is comprised of smartly priced reels that can match the performance of many times over, more expensive reels. The Carbon Light Material housing was designed with the Daiwa LT concept, which stands for Light but Tough, in mind. This carbon-based material, is light yet very strong, making the reel easy to manage over the long haul. The Rotor of the Exceler LT have been made in Zaion V Carbon, a new, tougher and more rigid material. In addition the Rotor carries a hollow aluminium Air Bail. The Air Rotor and Air Bail technologies reduce the weight, yet efficiently disperse the pressure of the line, over the bail to the whole part. The Daiwa Exceler LT reels are extremely smooth, utilizing five ball bearings and one roller bearing to maximize performance.

The lightened handle screws directly into the body offering an even smoother wind. The ATD drag is both progressive and powerful, benefiting from optimal surface area, offering an instant working of the drag and optimum drag power. The Tough Digigear drive offers unique cranking power and pushes the lifespan of this reel to the outer limits.
