The Ika Metal fishing style has many things in common with Slow Jigging and requires similar equipment. The Alpha Tackle Crazee ΙΚΑ Metal rod, has been designed exclusively for this particular offshore fishing style and can ideally be combined with Baitcasting reels, braid of PE 0.8 – 1.0 and leader line 0.30mm.
It has a highly sensitive carbon tip, that allows you to feel anything that touches your jig, in intensive fluorescent colors. However, it also incorporates a strong blank that will enable you to bring from the deep end of the water column, large Short Filns and Squids.
The rod is also equipped with Fuji equipment.
To perform this fishing style correctly, one needs to use heavy Ika Metal squid jigs, that are filled with lead.
