Ryobi Legend 5000 Spinning Reel

It was about time for Ryobi to produce an upgraded reel that can compete in performance and features with more expensive reels produced by prestigious manufacturers.

From the first crank you will realize that the Ryobi Legend 5000, in the Black Golden color offers a lot more than what you might expect from a reel at this range. First of all, it has been developed using new, composite material, which is 20% Lighter, but 40% stronger than normal aluminum.

The main shaft is made of titanium, hence can handle tough battles and remain perfectly aligned with internal components.

The spool of the Ryobi Legend has been redesigned to provide smooth unwinding of the braid to help you achieve longer casts. It is also elegant, lighter and includes rings to hold the braid in place, so no need for backing.

One of the features that make the Ryobi Legend stand out are the incredibly small increments of the drag system, allowing you to make micro pitch adjustments and progressively build up the drag force.
