Major Craft Gekisasu Wire Rear Assist Hooks

The Major Craft Gekisasu Wire Assist Hooks are ideal for species with sharp teeth and strong jaws. The wire is reinforced with PE, so it is safe for large blue-runners. The presence of wire, means that the Assist Hooks do not flutter freely, but have a strict posture.

By applying a fluorine coating to the Japanese hook, it penetrates the target's jaw more smoothly.

The Major Craft Gekisasu Wire Assist Hooks are available in two types. Each type includes two, double assist hooks, rigged on a solid ring.

• One type has the Assist Hooks, tied on Assist Line of equal length (Rear). This rig, has the bend of the Assist Hooks pointing towards to each other. It is a common belief that these Assist Hooks are better used with Slow Jigging jigs.
• The other type has the Assist Hooks tied on Assist Line of different length and they are suggested to rig the front part of the jig. Also these Assist Hooks have the bend pointing outwards. It is a common belief that these Assist Hooks are better used in Shore Jigging.
