Höwk Rocky Silicone Lure

The Höwk Rocky is a soft, versatile lure, designed to target deep-sea, predatory fish, in loads of different fishing styles. The Höwk Rocky can be fished vertically from the boat, with Trolling, or with Boat Casting for surface predators.

Höwk has designed the jighead, to feature an oblique. By being inclined, the head, improves the lure’s descent and brings about a more realistic, lateral movement to attract predators. Another aspect to highlight is that it has a body with a volume exactly equal, to the most pursued fish in the feeding chain, such as Mackerels, Jacks and small Tuna.

The head and the eyes of the lure are coated with a special UV finish. In the lower levels of the water column, the jig head and the eyes of the lure will glow in the eyes of predators, attracting fish from a distance.

Sometimes the fishing conditions require to cast the lure in far distances and the Höwk Rocky has been developed to accomplish exactly that.

Many anglers, prefer to add an extra hook on the tail, to further secure hook sets. It is a common practice in the Mediterranean when Trolling with live bait, Jigging, or Tai Rubber with silicone baits. With the addition of an extra hook in the tail, the lure will be more effective and the chances of the prey escaping our rig, will seriously diminish. The Rocky lures come rigged with a jig head, a main hook on the back, and a rear assist hook.

The belly of the lure is hollow, so you can add attractants. The silicone body of the Höwk Rocky has been carefully designed to assist the assembly and is penetrated all the way to the tail, to make the rigging of an assist hook easy.

The packaging includes a fully rigged, ready to take fishing lure and a spare body, which can be rigged with the help of a mounting needle. The Höwk Rocky can be rigged with the Owner Cultiva SJ-41, size 3/0 for the Assist Hook and with the Owner Gorilla 5128, size 7/0 for the main hook. They will withstand the most extreme tensile forces, ensuring they won't come loose during the fight.

The Höwk Rocky is available in 100 gr, 150 gr and 200 gr.
