The arrival of the third Daiwa Crosscast generation marks an extension of the range with two new models designed for shore jigging.
The Daiwa Crosscast is a Japan developed, dedicated Shore Jigging rod with Extra Fast tip action. It is made of High Modulus Cross Carbon, with three legged Fuji O guides.
The Daiwa Crosscast comes in two versions. The 3.05 long rod is for medium shore jigging, with jigs in the range between 28 and 85 gr. At the same time there is a longer version of 320 cm for jigs weighting between 40 and 120 gr.
The Daiwa Crosscast are constructed of High Modulus Cross Carbon, a material that incorporates the qualities we are looking for in a shore jigging rod of this status: low weight and a steep bending curve. At the same time the carbon material used allows these rods to maintain their initial shape and bending properties, even after prolonged and heavy use.
The reel seat is solid and can hold firmly in its place any reel.
The total weight of the rod, in reference to its total length, is very low and will allow you to enjoy long fishing sessions, without fatigue.
The peripherals carries the quality standards you would expect from a Daiwa rod. The Shore Jigging Crosscast is equipped with 10 Sic quides, strongly tied to the blank. In the middle of the handle, Daiwa has left the black section naked, that allows you to twitch your lures and feel any feedback.
No demanding shore jigging enthusiast will be dissapointed by any aspect of the Daiwa Crosscast, especially that of price. You can also use these rods for Heavy Spinning with Poppers, Pencils and Spoons weighting over 25 gr.
Micro Pitch: A micropigment finish is hot sprayed during the wrapping of carbon sheets. This removes the need for varnish, offering less weight and more sensitivity.
