Palms' line of rods Shore Gun Evolv, have been categorized according to the target species and the fishing style, in addition to achieving long-distance casts. The Shore Gun Evolv rods have been redesigned and rebuilt, to incorporate several changes for this season. The layout and distribution of Carbon material in the lower part of the blank has been redefined, emphasizing the sense of grip and creating a feeling of greater safety and confidence during the cast. For most models the concept of the grip has been redesigned and the distribution of the guides has been adjusted to increase performance during hard battles. The handles for the new series are being constructed exclusively with natural cork, to increase the feeling of safety when holding, as the natural cork creates the unique feeling of "sticking" in the palm. It may not visually win us over at first glance, but the "beauty" lays within it, as the functionality and comfort it offers, especially after long hours of fishing will reward us.

An effective reinforcement system, that achieves better performance, compared to older Palms models is the Cross Wrapping of the blank with carbon sheets. Along with the weight reduction, the stiffness of the blank at torsional torques increases. The Shore Gun Evolve blank uses an extremely elastic material around the lower part of the blank. The sense of confidence during casting, but also the achievement of longer distances, are improvements that have been accomplished, thanks to the increase of the strength of the Carbon material. Palms has extensive experience in combining these building materials and design know-how, so these advantages can become evident to any angler.

Their blank in particular has been manufactured with the X-Carbon Technology that offers many benefits, amongst which is the necessary progressive response in order to handle the jigs and to easily tackle fighting prey. The X-Carbon Technology is an effective reinforcement system, that helps the rod improve its performance, by cross blending carbon fibers, in an X shape. Along with weight reduction, the rigidity of the blank, and its twisting power towards any direction has been increased. At the same time they have the ability to place solid hooks and have such strength in their blank capable to bring ashore the strongest fish. All Shore Gun Evolv models have Fuji K Series guides as per their original settings. By re-constructing most of the rods in the series, Palms modified the number, the size and the exact position of the guides, for each fishing style, in an effort to further improve the balance, the quality and the potential of the blanks. By fully exploiting the potential of the new blank, which now utilizes a highly elastic carbon material, the Shore Gun Evolv rods offer a feeling of comfort during casting, long casting performance and linear handling that is free from useless vibration for rod work. All Shore Gun Evolv rod models feature natural cork, a not very common material to be used nowadays, in fishing rods. The comfortable and safe grip that it offers and the sense of "naturalness" that cork offers as a material, is incomparable. Its ability to withstand high forces, to have a long life span, even when used in salt water and to transfer the behavior of blank to our hands, are some of its key advantages.

The new SFTGS-811L / BL is a specialized rod for the demanding technique of Ultra Light Shore Jigging, for use with jigs ideally up to 20 gr, but also lighter. The sensitive and light blank allows for technical and precise operation of the rod, but also the achievement of long casting distance, due to its excellent parabolic action, even with jigs of just 5 gr. The SFTGS-811L is an ideal rod to manage and deceive prey that usually feed on baitfish such as the Anchovy and the Sardine.

The SFTGS-103H+ is a model with the ideal Casting Weight to be combined with jigs used mainly in Light Shore Jigging. However with the SFTGS-103H+ rod, it is not necessary to use only jigs, as it can handle any kind of bait. With a strong blank that can shoot lures up to 70 gr at unrealistic distances. It is recommended for use on rocky shores and beaches where the water depth increases sharply. The specific model aims to deprive from fish of 3 kg or bigger, the possibility of escape.

The SFTGS-103XH / BL rod, from the Blue Runner series, has been developed by Palms to fill the gap between the Light and Medium category in the Shore Jigging technique, with a blank capable of handling jigs and lures up to 100 gr. In battles with prey in the 5 kg category, it will not face any difficulty. In addition to the use of jigs, it can easily work with large Minnows and Top water lures. Its natural field of action is the open pelagic waters.

The SFTGS-106XXH / BL has been developed to deal with real trophy catches and the ultimate proof of its strength is that it can lift up a catch from the sea if required. The SFTGS-106XXH has been developed to cast jigs up to 120 gr. With a thin, delicate and sensitive tip which will give motion to any kind of jig, or lure but with a solid blank and bottom section it will offer to the angler the feeling of safety during the battle. It is amongst the strong rods of the category. 

The SFTGS-103XXXH / BL is Palms’ flagship rod for the Shore Jigging style. It is the strongest and most robust rod for this fishing technique, targeting really big catches from the shore. It can compete and bring to the shore catches in the 10 kg category. In a battle with a tough opponent, holding the SFTGS-103XXXH in our hands, we can constantly apply pressure to avoid dangerous rocky cuts, without allowing the opponent take the upper hand. Avoiding tangles and wind knots during casting is being avoided due to the distribution and type of guides, which provide us with stress-free fishing.
