Howk Hot Spot Slow Jigging Rod Series

The Hot Spot series, is a set of rods developed by Spanish company Howk, for the Slow Jigging style, as this is practiced in the Mediterranean.

These rods are matched both with Spinning and Multiplier reels.

The entire range of rods, incorporates spiral Fuji SiC rings, to prevent twisting and weakening of the carbon. The Fuji reel seat, features a trigger, which adds comfort to the handler, especially during hard battles.

They are top quality rods with the best Fuji components. All the Hot Spot Series incorporates Fuji SIC double-legged guides and fixed spool reel seat. These are extremely light rods but at the same time very powerful.

Blank Toray Carbon T1K

All the blanks of the Hot Spot S series are composed of the best carbon in the Toray T1K market. The Carbon material distribution results in a very strong and flexible blank, of extremely low weight.

Fuji Trigger Reel Seat

The Trigger reel seat has been designed for fishing with fixed spool, multiplier, or baitcasting reels. It is made of Graphite and Stainless Steel rings with protectors. It is one of the highest quality reel seats made by Japanese company Fuji; light but at the same time of highly contrasted resistance.

Fuji SiC Double-Legged Rings

The Fuji SiC double-legged guides are extremely lightweight and have Silicon Carbide ceramic. This is a hard and wear resistant material that leads to lower friction, allow higher loads to be handled, less heat dissipation, kinder treatment to the braid, compared to other type of rings. Silicon Carbide rings are ideal for big fish fishing. In addition, the frames are made of stainless steel thus avoiding any type of corrosion. They are high-end rings, of the highest quality.

Middle Action

The first third of the rod has a lot of flexibility, in order to give the right movement to the lures. The first two thirds have a large reserve of power to fight with great opponents.

Spiral Guides Distribution

All the Hot Spot range of rods, have a Spiral Guides distribution avoiding the torsion of the carbon of the blank and improving its durability.
