Shout Lance Slow Fall Jig

Shout has designed the Lance jig, which will be effective in various jigging styles and attract various Mediterranean predators.

Lance is a long, front weighted jig, which aims to imitate the motion of a fleeing baitfish, or young sand eels. Shout has intentionally aimed for a jig that can be worked with vertical thrusts and stalls. But the whole point with the Lance, is that it exhibits two different motion patterns.

During free fall, Lance will drop like a falling leaf from a tree, changing direction all the time. This excites nearby predators and sometimes the target will bite, while the jig is in a fall posture. When jigging, whether it is slow pitch, or high pitch, just make sure your motion is not violent and that allows the jig to stall. The profile of the Shout Lance jig is such, that the jig will pause at the top of the stroke, before descending to the side, making its volume known both when in a vertical and horizontal position.
