The new head design is narrower and slimmer, to emphasize its lateral action. The central part has also been thinned in order to improve performance in casting distance. The slimmer design also optimized water flow resistance and improved the jig’s responsiveness in high pitch and slow pitch jerks, while expanding the range of action. Daiwa also reviewed the jig’s balance generated by its center of gravity, so it can achieve a longer casting distance than the old model. No question about it, the Daiwa Samurai R Shore Jigging lure is the new standard in In-Shore games.
A sturdy treble hook has been rigged in the jig’s tail, and a single Assist Hook on the head of the jig. Daiwa also studied the rigging arrangement to reduce line troubles. The front assist hook, which is a SagSas, has a fluorine coating that makes it slippery.
