Seaspin Shrimp-U Soft Lure

We have gotten to know Italian company Seaspin from the notorious Mommotti lure series. Nevertheless, they design and produce a number of technologically advanced products for the Mediterranean angler. One of which is the Shrimp-U, a silicone bait, suitable for Rock fishing in SW and Shaky Head in FW.

This small, technologically advanced shrimp, is the link between the representation of nature and the artificial reconstruction, of what attracts most predators. Not everyone can artificially reproduce the key features, that make a soft bait irresistible. The rings on the body cause water vibrations that are felt by nearby fish. The fins on the sides are thin and reproduce the vibrations that would be emitted underwater by the legs of a shrimp and also contribute to make the lure look alive during jerks when retrieved.

You will find the Shrimp-U to be extremely effective in the pause during the fall. Try a “Stop and Go” retrieve, where any turbulence is enough to put the lure into action. The Shrimp-U can also be very effective with Texas rig and Drop shot fishing.

Available in three sizes 2”, 3”, 4” and many colors which allow the angler to find the right combination both in fresh water, or the sea.

The tail has a triangular, natural shape that can be fragmented through existing incisions. If left intact, it is suitable for medium to slow paces retrieves and when jerking it follows an up to down pattern. If, on the other hand, you want more snappy movements, you can remove the two internal membranes and thus create three very vibrant tails.
