Daiwa attempted to apply Slow Jigging theory to a minnow lure. The slow retrieve minnow SLZ Vertice SD (Slow Drive) resembles a dying baitfish.

The larger the Seabass, the more likely it is to eat dying baitfish that can be easily predated. To address this, Daiwa aimed to suppress the action of the lure and generate a weak wobbling and rolling action, with slow retrieve, like slow jigging, that reproduces the movement of a dying baitfish.

Furthermore, by intentionally setting the weight holding structure (Maglock) loose, a staggering action occurs. When Seabass are preying on baitfish such as Anchovy and Sardines, near the surface, you can induce an attack by simply casting and reeling in slowly.

If on the other hand you want to try a fast retrieve, the action of the Daiwa Shoreline Shiner-Z Vertice SD 140S will become much more intensive and the lure will violently move left and right.

One technology that the 140S have been incorporated with is the "Silent Weight Oscillation System Plus". It is a weight transfer system built around a stainless steel axis. In order to achieve the maximum casting distance tungsten metal is used, which is heavier than lead. The weight movement encompasses almost the entire body, allowing the main weight to be moved to the rear to ensure a steady flight and optimum body position. Upon falling into the water, the weight moves forward. With the action of the lure, the weight becomes difficult to slide to the rear and the swimming posture is maintained, even when retrieving and drifting against currents.

By changing the shape of the rear part of the body, a large weight has been installed, and by further penetrating the tungsten weight wire oscillating mechanism all the way to the rear end, the flight distance is greatly increased.

Lime Pearl (441) color, has a pattern that emits glowing light, when exposed to UV light. At low light conditions, you can make a strong appeal to Seabass.
