These Men’s Lite Winter Coast Socks boast an impressive 1.6 TOG rating, making them four times warmer than a basic cotton sock. They give you the ideal balance between thickness and warmth, allowing you to enjoy long-lasting comfort in your casual shoes all winter long.

Soon after they launched their famous Original socks, Heat Holders set out to create the warmest thermal sock, for more casual-fitting footwear. Following twelve months of testing, development and research, the Heat Holders Lite thermal socks were born.

• Heat Holders can be tumble dried but are happiest when line dried.

Tog Rating

TOG means Thermal Overall Grade. It is a scientific test that measures the thermal (heat retaining) capacity of fabric. Heat Holders® thermal socks, when tested using this standard, rate TOG 2.34. This is 7x warmer than cotton socks and almost 3x warmer than ordinary thermal socks. We test socks from most major brands that we can get our hands on and it is safe to say that Heat Holders® thermal socks are almost 40% warmer than the warmest thermal sock we have ever tested, which was a heavy sock with 80% plus wool. The 2.3 TOG socks are of maximum thickness, for boots and home wear. The 1.6 TOG are of Medium thickness for casual fitting shoes. The 1.0 TOG are of Minimum thickness for tighter fitting shoes.
