The Heat Holders Men’s Ultra Lite Budapest Heel & Toe Socks have been specially designed to fit comfortably, inside tighter-fitting and formal shoes. With an amazing 1.0 TOG rating, these men's thermal socks, of minimal thickness, are three times warmer than a basic cotton sock, so you get more of our famous thermal protection with less of the bulk.

Formal and tighter-fitting shoes, can often feel cold to wear. Not only do they offer less insulation than casual shoes, but most of the socks that will fit inside them, provide little, or no thermal protection. The Heat Holders Ultra Lite are different.

Tog Rating

TOG means Thermal Overall Grade. It is a scientific test that measures the thermal (heat retaining) capacity of fabric. Heat Holders® thermal socks, when tested using this standard, rate TOG 2.34. This is 7x warmer than cotton socks and almost 3x warmer than ordinary thermal socks. We test socks from most major brands that we can get our hands on and it is safe to say that Heat Holders® thermal socks are almost 40% warmer than the warmest thermal sock we have ever tested, which was a heavy sock with 80% plus wool. The 2.3 TOG socks are of maximum thickness, for boots and home wear. The 1.6 TOG are of Medium thickness for casual fitting shoes. The 1.0 TOG are of Minimum thickness for thighter fitting shoes.
