Almas de Vinilo is a small Spanish company that designs handmade, silicone baits. Its goal is for all the baits it manufactures to be characterized by realism, with great attention to detail and excellent behavior under water. All lures are firstly created on a computer, using a 3D design program, but then made by hand. They are initially tested in a water tank and later in the sea. Great attention is also paid to the combination of colors, the shape of the body, so that not only do they have a very good hydrodynamic motion, but they also look live.

All the Mediterranean predators, especially White Seabreams, Saddled Seabreams, or Seabass agree that one of the most delicious snacks in their food chain is the cuttlefish, or squid offspring. Almas de Vinillo designed a silicone bait that resembles a cephalopod offspring, a juicy bite of 4 cm, at 7 gr including the jig head, so realistic in its behavior both in and out of the water. Each packaging includes a rigged body, with a 2 gr jig head, totaling in 7 gr altogether and 2 spare bodies at 5 gr each.

The fishing techniques we can explore and the experiments we can conduct with the Almas de Vinilo Mini are numerous. You can rig it with a Hard Rock Fishing jig head, or try it with Light Spinning. If you are fishing off-shore you can combine it with an Inchiku jig, or try Ultra Light Trolling. You can soak it, or spray it with pheromone additives. Some open minded anglers, will attach the soft body on the Assist Hook of a large Shore Jig, or a Tai Rubber jig. You can retrieve the Micro Calamar with steady speed, slowly or quickly, with intensive jerks or pauses. Whatever your approach is, keep in mind that a Squid Offspring is a delicacy for most predators, and inspires hunting instincts. Feel free to use it in all the levels of the water column.
