BOSS Audio Systems MRGB55 with Multicolor Illumination

Fully Marinized is the term BOSS uses for their Marine and Outdoor products, that are Weather Proof. The BOSS Audio System MRGB55 is a waterproof, 2-Way Speaker Pair with 150 Watts MAX / 75 Watts RMS Power, for high quality sound reproduction in the boat, remotely controlled, with RGB illumination.

The MRGB55W has been outfitted with the latest weatherproofing techniques for protection against the elements of nature. 

The most noticeable and just plain coolest feature about the Boss MRGB55W, is the ability to interchange between colors and patterns. With the wireless remote control, you can pick and choose what color you are in the mood for and the pattern that suits your taste. Or you can just listen to your favorite audio files with no lights at all.

With a touch of a button the lights of the BOSS Audio System MRGB55 will be turned off. Please note that the illumination patterns do not match the beat of the music that is playing. The sound can be turned off, while the lights are at work. It looks spectacular at night.

All of the major components such as the spider, surround etc. have been specially coated to have the protection that they need from corrosion that is present in a humid and salty environment. The outside shell also has an Ultra-Violet coating to protect it from the damaging effects that the sun has to offer by maintaining material integrity and keeping them looking new.

Made from Polypropylene Woofer Cone, the MRGB55W 5.25-inch speakers provide a resilient and durable material that can offer great sound with the advantage of long-lasting speakers.

The Boss Audio Systems voice coils are able to withstand high temperatures yet maintain its strength and fatigue properties. This gives the speakers the advantage of longer play times.

Treated cloth is an excellent material to be used for surrounds. It is durable and plays well with the cone, providing the entire speaker the proper support for great excursion and even better sounds.

The stamped basket offers a strong and rigid platform allowing the listener to hear clean and clear music output.

The dome shape radiates sound with a wider dispersion pattern than the semi-dome design. Since high-frequency sound waves are very directional, a wider dispersion of the sound waves will give you a larger "sweet spot".
