The Meandros Nitro DL (Demka Long) mechanism, is the ideal upgrade for spearguns with the Demka thermoplastic handle, solving all potential technical problems with the mechanism.
It is easily fitted, with minimal intervention required for the loading butt, using the holding pins and line release as in the original handle, in the same points. For the trouble-free operation of the line release, Meandros incorporated a reverse trigger mechanism, that operates with push-rod propellants, independent of the trigger and spear rod, preventing the phenomenon of hard trigger and deflection.
The Meandros mechanism, due to its unique design, offers an unparalleled sensitivity, due the short route, better angle of rotation, thus the trigger resistance is unaffected under huge loads.
It self-centers and locks the shaft, 9,5 cm further than the classic mechanism and is compatible with shafts with an extra shark fin / notch.
The Meandros Reverse Trigger Mechanism Nitro DL for Demka Handles also features a low profile and durable loading butt, for comfortable, fast arming, with excellent shooting sight.
