Meandros Standard Plus Spearfishing Reel

The Meandros Standard Plus Spearfishing Reel is a vertical reel, with synthetic drum, of lower negative buoyancy, than metallic reels.

It features an automatic release brake, as well as semi-adjustment of constant flow resistance, for uninhibited unwinding of the line. The construction materials are long lasting and assembly has been made in a sophisticated design. It exhibits exceptional abrasion resistance, with almost zero damage to abrupt, fast rolls, making it suitable for all types of spear fishing.

The Meandros Standard Plus Spearfishing Reel takes full advantage of the size to capacity ratio. It is a monobloc drum, of minimum weight. It also allows the rope to dry out.

The base of the reel is made of marine type, stainless steel. The mounting of the base is pressed so no parts are protruding, causing malfunctions and tangles. It includes 3-axis spacers, at strategic points around the drum to eliminate even the possibility of twisting and the line escaping outside the drum.

The lever assembly screw of the Meandros Standard Plus Reel and the special washer, interlocking with the O-ring between the base and the lever, give the user a satisfactory range of pressure adjustment, to maintain the necessary resistance needed. The drag system guarantees the perfect operation and longevity of the reel because it has no movable but fixed parts. It is easily mounted with screws on the gun’s barrel, or trigger guard. It is an ideal reel for both Tubular and Monoblock, wooden, or synthetic weapons.

It is available in 5 sizes: 2, 2L, 3, 4, 5 and in 5 colors: Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, White and Orange.
