Bleutec Maena Vertical Spearfishing Reel

The Bleutec Maena vertical spearfishing reel, is characterized by the high construction quality and smooth operation.

The Maena reel is mechanically designed and manufactured in a single frame, from high density industrial polyacetal. It has been designed to provide a quick release, without resistance to the catch, or blocking during emergence. On the side, holes have been incorporated to reduce overall weight and help the rope to drain.

The Polyacetal material is known for the following properties: Resistance to hard and long-term use, while at the same time it has zero moisture absorption. In addition, it shows almost zero wear and tear from successive windings and unwindings, a desirable feature when aiming for large catches.

The base of the Bleutec reel is made of stainless steel, 1.5 mm thick in the S-M-L models, while in the XL size the thickness is 2 mm, to offer robustness and stability during use. Bluetec's Maena reel can be mounted either on the body of the speargun, or on the trigger guard.

The Maena reel is assembled in a single set with three stainless pins in sizes S & M, while in sizes L & XL it features four pins.

The winding lever is made of stainless steel for durability and protection during transport and storage. Its length can be adjusted according to preferences of the user.
