The Salty Advance Seabass is part of Shimano's exclusive JDM series and offers an exceptional combination of high-quality performance at an affordable price range. Made with Full Carbon blanks and the Taftec Tip, the Shimano Salty Advance Seabass rods, have a Medium action, which ensures excellent casting performance.

To effectively fish for Seabass, it is important that your rods are capable of casting a wide range of lures, often found at a long distance, especially when fishing from a shallow beach. This is where the Salty Advance Sea Bass really shines. The Medium action has enough flex to work with smaller lures, between 6 and 8 grams, whilst having the power and speed to cast 30-40 gram lures at great distances too.

The powerful blank of the Salty Advance Seabass is made from high quality Full Carbon, something rarely found in rods at this price range. The result is a perfectly balanced combination of Casting Power and delicate Tip Action.

To further enhance the powerful casting performance of the Salty Advance Seabass, Shimano has equipped the rod with high-quality Alconite K-Type stainless steel guides, with a SiC ring, to ensure trouble-free line management and minimize casting problems, at high speed, or slack line when retrieving. To complement the powerful blank, a Shimano DPS reel seat is fitted to the modern EVA grips.
