Tenryu Super Mix Evo Rods

The Tenryu Super Mix EVO series has been designed to meet the needs of fishermen looking for a versatile rod, that can handle a wide range of lures, from small minnows, to silicone baits, either from the shore, or from the boat.

Tenryu has revamped the classic Super Mix, giving it new Fuji Titanium K Series anti-Tangle guides. The Tenryu Super Mix Evo is now an "all round" lure rod, that  has been specifically modified to handle soft plastic and plug fishing. The features that have gone into these rods, have come straight from the requirements of French Pro Anglers and the result is a rod that can be used in so many situations. Along with new decals, the Super Mix looks stunning and is set to remain as the leading rod for the modern lure angler, who requires flexibility and maximum performance. Since its release the Super Mix has simply blown anglers away with its versatility, from twitching small hard lures to working soft plastics and even vertical jigging from the boat.

The blank is two unequal sections, with the tip section being longer than the butt. This makes the spigot joint further down the blank, allowing the rod to toughen up its action (the first cause of breakage on launching rods used with soft lures, especially when hooking with the bottom), which in turn gives it an action close to a single rod. The spigot is reversed and the male part is on the tip section and the female on the butt. This means the male part is surrounded by a very thick walled female butt section, this gives immense power in the joint.

The action is Medium Fast, which is perfect for diving lures and soft plastics. When twitching and bouncing soft plastics back towards you from the shore, or vertically from a boat, the blank is forgiving, allowing you to keep contact with the lure. The very sensitive tip comes to supplement a very big power in the heel.

When casting, the lure goes off alone without the need to force.
