Yamashita (야마시타) has done its own, environment friendly research to generate the rattle sound that attracts squids. The rattle sound technology has already been incorporated in the Live Search squid jigs (에기). With the Eginno 490 Search models, Yamashita (야마시타) further enhances the searching ability of the squid baits, this time by enhancing their visual aids.

The idea is simple. The Eginno is a combination of a Squid Jig + a fresh, or silicone bait for extra appeal. The fresh fish produces natural odor, but there are plenty of supplements in the market to help you reproduce just that. The way to explore this technique is really simple. Just catch, or buy some fresh fish and strap it on the back of the squid jig, with the rubber band (included). Let the Eginno sink to the bottom, retrieve the slack line and perform a wide twitch. Then just continue with the sequence.

Do not worry about the squid jig getting tangled up, as it stays head down, with the hooks pointing upwards. By putting together an Egi + Fresh bait even if you don't have great fishing skills, you can attract squids only with the movement and sound of the jig and catch the squid with the “smell of the bait".

So lets take step by step the process to be followed:

• Place the Fresh, or Silicone bait on the back of the squid jig, even by using an ordinary rubber band
• Cast the squid jig and let it sink to the bottom
• Reel in the line slack, wait 5 to 10 seconds, and then swing it up again. Repeat this process until the Eginno reaches the tip of your rod
