Lucky Craft Pointer 48 DD SP Lure

Lucky Craft Lures revolutionized bass fishing with the introduction of the Pointer Minnow, the first true suspending Jerkbait. Professional angler Skeet Reese of California was exposed to the first wave of Pointers that crossed the Pacific Ocean in the early 1990’s when Japanese anglers came to America to fish the annual U.S. Open.

The Lucky Craft Pointer DD SP has been designed with a very low center of gravity, through the use of special brass weights. The low center of balance, causes the lure to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieving motion is stopped. The Pointer will suspend 7 - 8 feet deep and will emit an intriguing bass calling vibration, while in the suspended state. A short twitch of the fishing rod will generate the "Walk the Dog" action under the water.

Their body is textured and resembles natural scale on the touch. The lip is wide and at a steep angle, grasping a lot of water with each jerk. Their eyes are filled with a lifeless, black color.
