In 2023, Yamaga Blanks designed and developed the Seawalk Tairubber rod series, to offer a completely new design and concept to Tai Rubber fishing enthusiasts. The Seawalk rod series challenges everything we know about Tai Rubber and offers new possibilities.

There are various fishing methods for the Red Sea Bream, therefore Yamaga Blanks has developed four models that have been carefully selected to match each style and situation, highlighting the individuality of each rod.

The "AT" (Automatic) type that has refined the basic performance of Tai Rubber, as it automatically hooks the fish, just by continuing to retrieve the jig. The "D" (Deep) type is for fishing in complex structures with intensive currents, such as deep waters over 100m. The "S" (Sensitive) type of rods, offer sensitivity and a supple tip, to capture shallow areas and delicately sense small bites, during low fish activity. The "F" (Fast) type, with refined sensitivity, for quickly hooking bites and increasing the reaction speed. Each rod’s blank offers a light feeling, like a light game rod and as an extension of the hand.

To target Red Snappers, Groupers, Dentex and other species that lurk close to the bottom, with Tai-Rubber gear, require the use of light lines, to reduce the effect of water resistance against strong currents.

Tai Rubber is a unique but also pleasantly demanding style of fishing, which can be very productive. Yamaga Blanks developed the Sea Walk Tai-Rubber models, to be highly sensitive, so to efficiently transmit the subtle changes in underwater currents, or the contact of fish with your rig, through the blank. The flexible tip will lead to a proper bite and the strong butt section will allow anglers to go head to head with the biggest prey.

The 68L and 68ML of the Tai Rubber series are for fishing in the deeper end of the water column, by fully taking advantage of the strong butt section. If you fish deeper than 50m with heavier than 100g jigs, without losing sensitivity, then one of the 68L, or 68ML Yamaga Blanks models are ideal.

The Sea Walk Tai Rubber SWT-68L rod, is a model that will meet all the requirements for fishing close to the coastline, or in the open sea. You will be able to set the hook on easily, without putting any stress on the fish, because of the flexible tip section. The butt section has been designed to be tenacious, so that it will cover not only small fish in shallow waters, but also trophy fish in deeper areas, around 100 m. From the tip all the way to the butt, the Sea Walk Tai Rubber, will bend progressively, with lures weighing max 100 gr.

The Sea Walk Tai Rubber SWT-68ML rod, has power in the butt section, compared to the 68L, but retains the same sensitivity with the 68L tip section. Anglers will be able to sense the smallest contact of fish, or slight changes of currents, even when a heavier than 100 gr Tai Rubber jig (around 150 gr) is needed in order to reach the deeper end of the water column (around 130 m). The blank remains equally responsive, and the butt is gifted with huge strength on the butt section to comfortably lift fish from the bottom.

Both rods can be combined with a Bait Casting reel.
