Penn Fathom II Star Drag

Penn Fathom II Star Drag Reels are the second generation Fathom reels from Penn. They are built with rigid metal frames and side plates and added features to make it more angler friendly than ever. Now more than ever before, their design philosophy has crossed the Atlantic to meet the requirements of European fishermen in terms of size, features and performance.

The Penn live spindle design allows for long, effortless casting.

The micro adjustments the HT 100 drag system allows you to perform, are simply perfect for Mediterranean fishing styles. You can switch between lighter or heavier drag, depending on the prey, the depth, the fishing style, etc.

The Penn Fathom II also come with a braid ready spool, so no need for backing is necessary. Another feature is the line capacity rings, to know approximately how much line you have left.

It features the fast gear access side plate, so any angler can service their gears and the HT-100™ drag system quickly and efficiently.
