Maxel Armory 25 & 35 Reels

The Maxel Armory 25 and Armory 35 Round Profile, Level Wind Reels are the larger models in the Maxel arsenal.

On the larger models, Maxel has retained the same outstanding features, that have proven so popular on the Armory 15, as well as ensuring the strength and durability of the heavy-duty, level wind system.

The most innovative design on the new Armory reels, is the patent-pending, Maxel Karman System (the Integrated Lever Drag System), which is aimed at eliminating spool lock. What is the Karman System? The Karman System enables the spool shaft to connect more effectively with the lever drag. When the drag lever is in the Free position, the drag plate disengages with the spool smoothly even after a lengthy fight. This means the reel goes to zero drag without any drag force. The Karman System is a breakthrough when it comes to issues surrounding spool lock, when a lure gets snagged between rocks.

In addition the Karman System delivers more precise drag adjustment as the setting position is more accurate. This is particularly useful when using ultra-thin braided line, during slow pitch jigging and allows for more control and less breakages.

On the Armory 25 & 35 Maxel has retained the improvements made on previous models, such as the strength of the level wind system and its durability under heavy drag. Designed with the unique concept of "Level Plus+”, the Lever Drag function and the Synchronous Level Wind System, constructed with Heavy-Duty precision gears, enable the line guide and all the internal gears to be working in very precise and synchronized alignment. Hence during retrieve, the line distribution is even, across the entire spool width.

The accurate Level Wind system allows anglers perform micro-adjustments and work jigs more easily in any targeted water layer, to increase the number of attacks. And the proven technology used to perfect the Lever Dual Drag system will greatly improve the chances of keeping hard fighting fish on the hook. These two features make this is the ultimate jigging reel.

Also the feel of the movement of the drag lever is greatly improved. Anglers can feel the suction when moving the drag lever from higher to the Free position. The movement is easier and faster.

The Maxel Armory is constructed with heavy duty gears, made from the most reliable materials.

The handle is in oval shape and features natural cork, an environmentally friendly and warm material.
