The Tournament Micro Style is a really thin braid, one of the strongest in its class. The manufacturing process uses the progressive raw materials of ultra, high, strength Polyethylene fibers IZANAS manufactured by Toyobo Japan, popular in the production of top-line braids. This material has a number of advantages, such as high strength, resistance to abrasion and UV exposure, low specific gravity etc. It is a strong and supple, made in Japan PE line, with micro-pitch braided processing (8-piece set), that is a tighter winding of ultra PE, than the 4-piece set. Each thread is braided, using a micro-pitch process and then special heat treatment is applied, to make each thread adheres to each other. As a result, the roundness is improved, giving it firmness and resiliency that could not be achieved with conventional products. Also resistance to abrasion has been greatly improved and is approximately three times higher, than conventional products.

The use of micro-stepping weaving technology made it possible to obtain a tightly braided line, of high sensitivity, due to the low degree of elongation, a smooth structure that increases casting distance and abrasion resistance.
