Quick drying anti-rust primer. It contains zinc phosphate and a combination of highly waterproof resins.

Fields of Application:

It has an excellent adhesion on iron, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, bronze, tin, wood and polyester. In some kinds of surfaces, such as certain types of stainless, it may be necessary to sand the surfaces in order to open pores. Its is recommended as a primer on submerged surfaces, for marine protection

Technical Characteristics

  • Output: 11-14 sq. mt/lt (18-23 dry microns per layer)
  • Drying Time: 1-2 hrs
  • Packaging: 750 ml, 400 ml (Spray)
  • Application tools: Brush, Roller, Spray

Instructions

Carefully stir the contents in the can. The surfaces have to be clean, dry and degreased. Always paint at a temperature 3ºC above dew point.

Bare surfaces: Polyester. Thoroughly degrease with TITAN YATE Thinner. Lightly sand, dust-off and apply 1 coat of Marine Primer.

Wood: Apply one or two coats of Marine Primer on dry and sanded surfaces.

Iron: Remove rust, grease and dirt. Once dry, apply two coats of Marine Primer.

Submerged iron: Previously consult your dealer.

Non-ferrous metals: Degrease and get the surface dry. Apply 1 coat of Marine Primer. When priming stainless steel, previously sand, depending on its characteristics, in order to improve adhesion.

Maintenance of previously coated surfaces in poor condition:
Thoroughly remove old coats with TITAN Plus Paint Stripper. Wash with fresh water and proceed as for non-prepared surfaces.
