Nitecore Ci2 Intelligent Battery Charger

Intelligent two slot battery charger, compatible with Li-ion and Ni-MH / Ni-Cd batteries. The Nitecore Ci2 is powered by a smart USB-C charging port. 

The Ci2 has the ability to fast charge the batteries when powered by a device that supports QC/PD function, or when powered by a power adaptor that has those functions.

With maximum charging current 3000mA when charging a single battery, it only takes 35 minutes to charge a battery from 30% of its energy to 80%.

The Ci2 is smart and user friendly due to the:

• ​​Automatic selection of charging current.
• Automatic control of the battery energy level.
• Automatic termination of charging upon its completion.

The Ci2 smart battery charger is powered by a common USB-C charging port and automatically detects the QC/PD supply.

Nitecore Ci2 incorporates a specially designed program for charging IMR batteries, which is able to monitor the entire charging process, ensuring that the cut-off voltage is always within the safety limits so as to increase the battery life.

The charger features a screen with indicator lights in a straight column for each charging position as following:

• Red indicator light permanently on to indicate fast charging.
• Three green indicator lights permanently lit to indicate 100% full charge
• Two green indicator lights permanently lit to indicate approximately 80% full charge.
• A green indicator light permanently on to indicate the full charge by approximately 30%.

Nitecore Ci2 is able to activate over-discharged Li-ion batteries with a protection circuit. After inserting the battery, Ci2 will check and activate the battery before starts charging. When the battery is faulty all the indicator lights above the charging position (one red and three green) will flash simultaneously to inform the user and the Ci2 will automatically terminate the charging process at that position.

Ci2 will automatically select between 3 charging modes (CC, CV and -dV/dt) according to the battery type and capacity.

Features two external protections:

• Unique cooling fins, designed to provide excellent cooling performance by dissipating heat quickly to prevent potential damage
• Resistant and fire retardant polycarbonate materials
