The Daiwa Shoreline Shiner Z series, brings together a range of technical plugs designed for sea fishing and is without doubt one of the best models of the Japanese company for sea shore fishing. These lures, are a formidable ally for targeting Bass, as they have been designed for all predators of similar size such as the Atlantic Bonito. This is a model distinguished among its competitors with the high intensity of "wandering". The floating type wobbler with movement in the surface layer (30 to 80 cm) it is very suitable for all shallow stretches, bays and river estuaries.

Fitted with Owner T hooks, these lures come with integrated lips and a mass transfer system built around a stainless steel axis. In order to achieve the maximum casting distance tungsten metal is used, which is heavier than lead. The weight movement encompasses almost the entire body, allowing the main weight to be centered at the rear to ensure a steady flight and optimum body position. Upon falling into the water, the weight moves forward where it is fixed to begin the intense game of the wobbler.

The Shoreline Shiner Z Vertice 80S is the smallest sinking minnow, in the Vertice range. On a slow retrieve, it will work through the first meter of depth, where small prey are often chased by bass. The 80S is the ideal lure in terms of size, to work through the shallow sections of the water column, preferably at a depth between 30 to 80 cm.

The Shoreline Shiner Z Vertice 97F is super shallow lure, that can be worked at no more than 80 cm beneath the surface. Its buoyancy allows you to work it over rising rocks, where other lures would get stuck. When you retrieve it, at a slow and steady speed, it moves with a remarkable stability and a distinct rolling action – enough to fool a weary bass. The produced rolling motion is highly attractive. The Vertice 97F has a center of gravity, carefully positioned to allow the lure to perform with a fast retrieval. Equipped with a patented weight transfer system, this Daiwa has achieved an average casting distance of 62.5 m and a maximum casting distance of 65.5 m in tests carried out by the Daiwa team in Japan.

The next size for the Shoreline Shiner Vertice is at 14cm and comes in two versions: floating and sinking. Both the 140F and 140S allow the transfer of a tungsten weight, along a straight axis. This means that the weight works up a greater speed, increasing the maximum casting ability of the lure up to 78m (74.5m for the floating model) during Daiwa’s tests in Japan, with the average casting distance being 72m. This lure is ideal for currents, as it produces a distinctive rolling action. The diving depth of the 140F model is between 30 and to 120cm. For the sinking model (140S) the swimming depth is between 50 to 140cm.
